Amphenol PCD is currently seeking a Production Planner for our Beverly, MA location

Job Summary
As our Production Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of the scheduling activities necessary to meet Amphenol PCD's finished goods and inventory goals

Summary of essential job functions
• Use MRP to manage production work releases
• Schedule/reschedule production on the assembly floor
• Place major emphasis on meeting customer requirements
• Prioritization of production orders in alignment with sales demand
• Provide guidance to buyers on purchased part supply and demand
• Identify shortages and work with buyers on material need dates to meet ship dates
• Expedite/monitor/track work orders to know current status
• Update and provide open order and scheduling reports
• Interact with buyers, production, and customer service to advise completion dates
• Close work orders in production to update inventory
• Expedite materials as necessary to ensure on-time shipment
• Attend backlog meetings as required
• Provide support to sourcing and purchasing as needed
• Support successful integration of engineering projects to production
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• 1-3 years of related experience within a manufacturing environment
• Attention to detail and service oriented
• Computer literacy with MS Office and e-mail
• Working knowledge and experience with ERP and MRP systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time to meet delivery deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
